Donald Jacobs, Ph.D.

Leadership

Don brings more than 35 years of education experience to his leadership of PLS 3rd Learning, with a focus on designing and developing high-impact projects in education. He founded the award-winning Center for Applied Technologies in Education at the University at Buffalo, and has led projects and planning initiatives with educational organizations across the world—including signature work in New York State, Pennsylvania, Texas, Costa Rica, Panama, and Turkey. He has also collaborated with renowned primatologist Dr. Jane Goodall to develop technology-based projects that advance environmental education and awareness globally.

Don holds a Ph.D. in Educational Organization, Administration and Policy from the University at Buffalo, an M.S. in Instructional Systems Design from the University at Buffalo, a B.S. in Art Education from SUNY College at Buffalo, and completed arts, language, and history coursework at the University of Siena, Italy.
